The Hector Fellow Academy offers you the opportunity to realize a self-developed research project under supervision Prof. Jens Timmer. He is one of the Hector Fellows, a community of outstanding professors from different research institutions across Germany working in STEM-subjects, medicine, and psychology. He is one of the leading scientists in the field of systems biology where he uses physics-inspired data-based mathematical models to understand cell biological processes. His approach contributed to understand signaling pathways which contribute to the development of cancer.

Your profile
You are enthusiastic about developing and investigating an innovative research idea within the discipline of Prof. Timmer. You have a master’s degree in a scientific or engineering subject with excellent grades.
