We are seeking a talented, creative, and friendly individual to join our interdisciplinary team. We formulate physics-style mathematical theories to understand the remarkable processes that allow single-cell embryos to develop into complex animal forms. In this project, you will adapt tools from non-linear dynamical systems theory, machine learning, and non-equilibrium physics to understand how biological patterns self-organize during embryonic development.
